Sanctuary. by alexstoddard on Flickr.

ok let’s look at this closely
it’s 6 in the morning
you carried a massive fishtank which no doubt costs like a hundred bucks into the woods
then you either dragged a hose or used buckets (since there’s no way anyone can carry that much water) to fill that thing up
then you set a timer on your camera (or asked a friend) and got in it and had to keep submerging yourself in cold water at 6 in the morning until you got a good shot where you weren’t a blur and you weren’t drowning
this photo is beautiful but what

That’s what you do for art.

Reblogging for the last comment.

Hey tumblr my town needs help like big time because a kid I graduated with recently went missing this past Wednesday (October 15th, 2014) and the only thing we have on him so far is his roomate saw him Wednesday. If you live in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts or Eastern Canada and anywhere along the Eastern Seaboard of North America (because you sometimes have no idea where they are), please please PLEASE contact someone. I’ve known him since third grade, and while we didn’t get along the past few years, we used to be friends so if you’re one of my followers, take this as a personal plea for help in addition to just kindness. And reblog it even if you don’t live around here, because you never know who follows you and might know something. Here’s more information from where I first heard about this:
I’ve just received an email from The College of Saint Rose saying: “The College of Saint Rose has reported to law enforcement officials that Connor W. Trapatsos, an 18-year-old first-year student from Fairport, Monroe County, New York, is missing. Connor is a white male with dark brown hair, brown eyes, 5’7” tall and slight build.
Connor, who resides in Brubacher Hall, was last seen by his roommate this past Wednesday morning. The College was informed this afternoon. The residence hall has been searched thoroughly three times by Saint Rose Security officers and the University at Albany Police Department.”
Conner graduated from Fairport in 2014 and I’m posting this because I have friends both from the Fairport area and the Albany area. Anyone who may have seen Connor or have any information regarding Connor’s whereabouts is asked to call the University at Albany Police at 518-441-3130 or Saint Rose Security at 518-454-5187.

To add to this, here is some info from the latest email sent to all Saint Rose students:
"(Last seen) wearing a white t shirt, black hooded sweatshirt with the words “Pilot 21” on the back, blue shorts, blue Nike running shoes, and carrying a dark colored backpack. Connor left his prescription medication behind as well and may require medical attention.
Connor may be walking west on Rt 5 or Rt 20 towards Rochester, NY.”He was seen on Brubacher Hall Security footage leaving at around 10am Wednesday morning. Also, here is another picture of Connor:
A signal boost would be much appreciated! Although I do not personally know him, he is part of the Saint Rose community and it’s very unsettling to know one of our fellow classmates is missing!

Women hear it all the time from men. “You’re overreacting,” we tell them. “Don’t worry about it so much, you’re over-thinking it.” “Don’t be so sensitive.” “Don’t be crazy.” It’s a form of gaslighting — telling women that their feelings are just wrong, that they don’t have the right to feel the way that they do. Minimizing somebody else’s feelings is a way of controlling them. If they no longer trust their own feelings and instincts, they come to rely on someone else to tell them how they’re supposed to feel. Men really need to stop calling women crazy (via 5000letters)
